Do I need to buy new hardware?+
In most cases, no. ChatPoint runs on any Android or iOS phone or tablet and works with mainstream network and Bluetooth receipt printers, so you can usually start with the devices you already have.
What happens after the 3-month free trial?+
You choose whether to continue on the monthly or yearly plan. Nothing is charged automatically during the trial, and you can stop at any time.
How long does setup take?+
Most restaurants are taking orders the same day. Adding the menu is the longest step, and the AI import turns a photo or file of your existing menu into items, prices and categories for you.
Can my guests order in their own language?+
Yes. The guest ordering pages support multiple languages, so visitors and tourists can read your menu and order without asking staff for help.
Do you take a percentage of my sales?+
No. You pay the flat subscription only. Payment processing fees are charged by your payment provider directly, and we never take a cut of your revenue.
Which plan do I need?+
Count your dine-in tables. Up to 5 is Basic, up to 20 is Standard, and Professional has no table limit. Takeaway, self-order QR and delivery-platform orders never count toward the limit.
What are the add-ons for?+
Order Calling (HK$49 / month) switches on the customer pickup display and the expediter account. Online Queueing (HK$49 / month) switches on the queue display, queue control and the ticket kiosk. Everything else is already in the base plan.
Can I change plan later?+
Yes. You can upgrade at any time and the new limits apply immediately. To move down a tier, first bring your dine-in tables under the new plan's limit — no data is ever deleted.
Are there any fees on top of the monthly price?+
No. There is no setup fee, no per-terminal charge and no commission on your orders. The monthly or yearly plan price plus any add-ons you choose is the whole cost. Card and e-wallet processing fees are charged by your payment provider, not by us.
